I was introduced to Mackenzie through mutual friends and I am so thankful I was! She was in desperate need of a makeup artist for her wedding at Record Box Loft. When we booked for her wedding day we didn’t have as much time to schedule a trial which honestly, we didn’t need it. I showed up the morning of her wedding day and we got right now to business. The joy and enthusiasm Mackenzie had to FINALLY be marrying her love couldn’t go unnoticed. She had a calm over her that day knowing it was time to take on her new role as a bride and wife. Mackenzie is naturally beautiful, so we took what she was blessed with and enhanced it a little bit. We used my go to, Temptu Airbrush foundation, which is perfect for the long unpredictable weather days weddings can bring. With her wedding in January, we had to be prepared for the weather. We wanted to make sure her makeup lasted through snow, sleet rain ANYTHING Michigan weather can bring! Waterproof mascara was a must and a natural lip to finish her look. She looked breathtaking. Nicolette Myrick captured her day so beautifully it was hard to narrow these photos down!

Family is forever

I always get so much joy when I get to take part in my families big day and this one was nothing different! When I get the opportunity to do bridal makeup, I always make sure I discuss what they are looking for. I am very much a minimal makeup artist when it comes to my style and with Erica it paid off! Erica has a natural beauty and I did not want to take away from it with excessive amounts of makeup. We did a very natural airbrush look with a subtle smokey eye and light lipstick and let me tell you.. PERFECTION! Special thanks to Amanda Collins Photography for capturing her big day! The Farmer wedding

There is something so special about seeing your friends get married but getting to be apart of their big day was even better. Katelin wanted a classic look to ensure her natural beauty was captured. We did a trial, and while we were okay with the results, we weren’t set on it. Then she sent me a Tik Tok, yes a Tik Tok for inspiration of her look. Let me tell you I am so thankful she did, because we would have NEVER gotten the look we did without it! I used Temptu Air Brush matte foundation with a light smokie eye and a matte Lip Color to bring everything together. With a bit of setting spray to finish off and to bring some moisture back in. It paid off, because it lasted ALL NIGHT! The end result was perfectly captured by Moon Valley Photography!
